Grace Before Dying is an award-winning photographic documentary by Lori Waselchuk that chronicles the prisoner-run hospice program at Angola State Penitentiary, Louisiana's maximum-security prison. Through a Distribution Grant from the Documentary Photography Project of the Open Society Institute, Waselchuk collaborated with the Angola Hospice Volunteer Quilters to build a traveling exhibit featuring photographs from her project and quilts commissioned for the exhibit.

CURRENTLY, the exhibit is touring correctional facilities, museums, libraries, and conferences. Additional sponsors include: Louisiana-Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (LMHPCO), the Louisiana State Prison Museum, and Moonshine Studio.
